A hilltop pagoda peopled with "nats" -- the spirits that pervade Burmese life. In front of the standing nat is a wishing stone. You kneel, hold it in your hands, and ask a wish. If your wish will come true, the stone becomes light as a feather. If your wish won't be granted, the stone is impossible to lift. Syriam, Burma 1999
